Several rooms provide direct views of the Matterhorn Mountain. The family room features soundproof walls, three beds, and a bathroom with two washbasins, a walk-in shower, and bathtub.
Matterhorn View Breakfast
A breakfast buffet is served daily in the dining room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Matterhorn. The traditional main course is accompanied by various starters, desserts, and local digestifs.
Mountain Activities Access
The hotel provides free sledges for the Furi to Zermatt trail that passes behind the property. Dirt scooters are available for mountain descents. Guests have access to a sauna and steam room. From June to October, mountain bike rentals include electric bikes and full-suspension models from Bergamont.
Glacier Paradise Proximity
Located in Winkelmatten, the hotel is a 4-minute walk from the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise valley station, providing access to 360 kilometers of ski slopes in Zermatt and Cervinia. The Schlüematta bus stop is adjacent to the hotel, with regular service to Zermatt center and train station. Zermatt is car-free; guests park in Täsch and take the Matterhorn Gotthardbahn shuttle.
Family and Rental Services
The hotel offers free sledge rentals with child seats available. Ski and snowboard rentals are provided through Dorsaz Sport. The property has received the Clean & Safe label for guest safety protocols. Welcome drinks are provided upon arrival.
